Within the program "Support to initiatives of civil society organizations for protection and support of victims of human trafficking in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic" of the Council of Europe, PULSE Foundation will implement a series of initiatives for prevention of human trafficking and providing access to services to support victims or at risk of trafficking, etc. The initiative started in early November 2020 and has a duration of 7 months.

The project aims to help the process of recognizing the problem at all levels of society in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and the deepening economic crisis, and to effectively support victims of trafficking, to reach accessible and efficient services.

Specific objectives:

1. Optimization of the program for support of victims of human trafficking at the PULSE Foundation. Providing 24-hour support (including online) to victims or people at risk of trafficking and access to services for the care and rehabilitation of victims of trafficking.

2. Raising public awareness and sensitivity, both for victims of trafficking and people at risk, and for the general public about potential risks, ways to prevent trafficking and support opportunities.

3. Improving cooperation between NGOs and institutions.

Planned activities:

1. Direct support to victims of trafficking.

1.1. Provide a 24-hour support line and provide information, including online.

1.2. Access to support services. Providing expert support for victims of trafficking or at risk, psychological, social, legal and, if necessary, medical support.

1.3. Mobile services - working with communities in small settlements.

2. Work with professionals.

3. Activities to raise awareness and sensitivity on the topic of victims of trafficking, people at risk and the general public.
