The PULSE Foundation has been providing assistance and support to victims of violence and/or human trafficking for more than 20 years.

A team of psychologists, social workers, lawyers and other specialists provide round-the-clock support to victims in a crisis center, a hotline and a counseling program.

Every year, the PULSE Foundation supports over 300 women, children, and men who are victims or at risk of violence and/or human trafficking.

Every month the organization helps about 100 women, children and men.

Our crisis center annually provides shelter to over 50 victims of violence who are in urgent need of protection.

Crisis centers for temporary accommodation are often their only hope of escaping violence and being able to live a new life without humiliation, fear, beatings and harassment. It provides a protected space in which victims feel accepted and understood and their suffering is respected. This is where women and their children receive security, protection, and the opportunity to recover.

The crisis center is supported by state funds and donations. Unfortunately, the funds at our disposal do not always allow us to provide victims of violence with everything they need to lead a normal life.

Temporary housing often has serious financial difficulties in maintaining normal living conditions. Calmness, comfort, a sense of protection are key to overcoming strong emotional stress. There are many people in need, and funds for food, medicine, sanitary supplies, clothes, and other household needs are not always enough.

The Victim Support Program (Counseling Program) does not have permanent funding. The activity is provided thanks to projects and donors.

Despite the complex financial situation we describe, we do not stop helping the needy and developing training and prevention programs.

We believe that everyone deserves to live in a world free of violence.
