What does it mean to be an active citizen today? How can people truly influence the environment around them? And how can we build a better dialogue between citizens and institutions?
PULSE Foundation invites you to be part of the launch of a new initiative that seeks answers to exactly these questions.
- April 15, 2026
- 11:00
- International Youth Center - Pernik
During the event, we will present the project “Civic Voices: empowerment through participation, knowledge, and connection for more active citizens”, funded under the Swiss Bulgarian Cooperation Program, within the Civil Engagement and Transparency Mechanism (CETM) 2024-2029.
We will talk about:
- what active civic participation means in practice.
- how everyone can get involved.
- what opportunities young people (and not only) in Pernik have.
We will also present one of the most exciting elements of the project – a youth podcast created by young people for young people.
The event will conclude with a discussion where everyone will be able to join with ideas and questions.
We look forward to seeing you!
