The campaign “Help now for the affected by domestic violence“ relies on the generous support of donors and friends who accept the cause to heart and can be supported by online donations in Platformata.bg.
March 8 is the day of equal rights between gender, woman's day - mother and beloved.
Not to all women, however, this day is a celebration.
On March 8, we also look at the victims of violence.
At these women who will not get any flowers, and their children will once again witness physical and mental violence on their mothers.
To women and children who live in the trap of domestic violence – of the horror, fear and pain.
These women and their children need protection, support from specialists, a place to shelter and a foundation to begin to build their lives again - without horror, fear and violence.
There are few places in Bulgaria where the victims of violence can be given protection and professional assistance around the clock.
Although we at the PULSE Foundation are one of the few organizations, we help professionally, with understanding and hope for a better future, but our organisation has no constant funding from the state, and when there is, it is not enough, as it covers only one third of the necessary funds to provide 24-hour care and support for victims of violence.
The PULSE Foundation needs your help to help 40 mothers and children affected by violence in the coming weeks.
Campaign funds will provide food, medicines, heating and electricity for the center, medical care when needed, psychological support, social worker, or deeds when needed.
The PULSE Foundation was selected together with another 7 to participate in the "8 campaigns for 8 March" initiative of the BCause Foundation for successful fundraising campaigns from organizations working with women and children who have experienced violence. The organizations have launched fundraising campaigns, and the BCause Foundation will double the funds raised from each campaign with an amount of up to BGN 3,000 from the Support Fund for women affected by the violence.
We believe that every person deserves to live in a world free of violence.
You can be part of the salvation of hundreds of people!
You can support us by donating online to the Platformata.bg
We need your help to give warmth, coziness and security for women and children affected by violence.

For more than 23 years, the PULSE Foundation has been assisting and supporting victims of violence.
A team of psychologists, social workers, lawyers and other specialists provide 24/7 support for the victims in a crisis center, a hot line and a consultation program.
The PULSE Foundation supports over 300 women, children and men, affected by or at risk of violence and/or trafficking in human beings annually.
The organization helps over 100 women, children and men, on a monthly basis.
Our crisis center annually provides shelter to over 50 people affected by violence who urgently need protection.
The temporary accommodation crisis center is often their only hope of escaping violence and gaining the opportunity for a new life without humiliation, fear, beatings, and harassment. It provides a protected space in which the victims feel accepted and understood, and their suffering is respected. Here is a place where all the people get security, protection, and recovery.
