PULSE Foundation continues its active work under the project “Path to Knowledge: Literacy and Opportunities for Adults in Kardzhali”, aimed at supporting adults with low literacy or without completed primary education by creating opportunities for learning, social inclusion, and more active participation in community life.
PULSE Foundation is pleased to share that a new partner has joined the project – “St. Cyril and Methodius” Primary School in the village of Stremtsi, Kardzhali Municipality. This is where part of the literacy and training activities for participants will take place.

The project aims to reach people who, for various reasons, have remained outside the educational system and today face difficulties in their daily lives, in finding employment, and in accessing services. Through training, individual support, and field work, the initiative will give dozens of people the chance to take an important step toward a better future.
In recent days, we held a working meeting with the team of field workers who will play a key role in implementing the project in the Kardzhali region. Together, we discussed the upcoming activities, planned the campaign for identifying and motivating participants, and outlined concrete steps for working with local communities.

In the coming months, meetings are planned with the Labor Office, local mayoralties, community centers, and institutions, as well as informational sessions and outreach campaigns in the settlements. We expect these activities to reach more than 200 people, with over 100 participants included in the programme.

We also held an introductory meeting with the team of “St. Cyril and Methodius” Primary School in the village of Stremtsi, during which we presented the project’s goals, planned activities, and expected results. On site, we also reviewed the excellent facilities where the training sessions will take place.
We believe that when institutions, schools, and local communities work together, knowledge becomes more accessible and change becomes possible.
