The PULSE Foundation continues its work on the program “Improving Tuberculosis control in Bulgaria!”
In the next three years a team of experts will carry out activities on prevention and control of Tuberculosis among the Roma community in Pernik District.
The activities are part of the program “Improving the sustainability of the National Tuberculosis Program” funded by the Global Fund.
The main focus of the program “Improving the sustainability of the National Tuberculosis Program” is to establish early diagnosis of cases of medication resistance among key affected populations (KAP). The program aims to promote sustainable public health system with quality Tuberculosis diagnosis, prevention, treatment and care.
The PULSE Foundation has already successfully implemented activities under the “Improving Tuberculosis control in Bulgaria” among injecting drug users and people with alcohol dependence.
